2014年10月15日，ECHA就十甲基环戊硅氧烷（D5）和十甲基环五硅氧烷（D4）征求证明资料，这两种物质均属于常用化妆品原料。鉴于这两种物质具有相当的持久性、生物富集性以及毒性，英国正计划提交限制法案对这两种物质进行限制管理。该项限制提案将禁止这两种物质投放市场，在需清洗个人护肤产品中的用量也不得等于或高于0.1% （重量百分比）。
这两种物质的生产方，进口方以及使用方可于11月29日以前对这一文件提出意见，并由英国方面向欧洲化学品管理署提交。
A call for evidence provides an opportunity for interested parties to signal their interest and express their views and concerns in the preparatory phase of the restriction proposal. The information gathered will provide an input into ECHA's development of an Annex XV restriction dossier. With a call for evidence, ECHA hopes to receive information from parties who otherwise might not have been identified and consulted at an early stage.
